We are pleased to share the highlights of the Swearing-In Ceremony for Nak'azdli Whut'en, held on August 23. The event was hosted by our Chief Operating Officer, Angela Clause.
During the ceremony, we expressed our deepest thanks to our outgoing Chief Aileen Prince and the previous council for their exceptional service over the past four years. Chief Aileen’s leadership has left a lasting impact on our community, and we are truly grateful for her contributions.
Our new Chief and Council members took their oaths, reading out and signing confidentiality forms to affirm their commitment to serving Nak'azdli Whut'en with integrity. Chief Colleen Erickson then delivered an inspiring speech, sharing her passion and vision for our community's future.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended the ceremony and to those who have supported our leaders, past and present. Together, we will continue to build a brighter future for all members of Nak'azdli Whut'en.
